  • This edition of Release Notes describes the Release 358 family of graphics drivers (versions 358.xx) for Microsoft Windows Vista and later. NVIDIA provides these notes to describe performance improvements and bug fixes in each documented version of the driver.

    What’s New in Version 358.87 WHQL
    Prior to a new title launching, our driver team is working up until the last minute to ensure every performance tweak and bug fix possible makes it into the Game Ready driver. As a result, you can be sure you’ll have the best day-1 gaming experience for your favorite new titles.

    What’s New in Release 358
    The section summarizes the driver changes previously introduced in Release 358.

    GameWorks VR Support: Updated driver support for the GameWorks VR SDK, adding VR SLI enhancements and bug fixes. Learn more at developer.nvidia.com/vr.

    OpenGL: This driver adds support for the following:
    - OpenGL 2015 ARB extensions
    - OpenGL ES 3.2
    This product is based on based on a published Khronos specification and is expected to pass the Khronos Conformance Testing Process when it is available. Current conformance status can be found at www.khronos.org/conformance.

    Windows 10
    - Added SLI support for ShadowPlay and GameStream.
    - Added Stereo support for DirectX 12 SLI and 3D Surround.

    NVIDIA Control Panel
    3D Settings->Manage 3D Settings page: Added controls for forcing the use of the integrated graphics processor or the NVIDIA GPU on Optimus notebooks.
