• This edition of Release Notes describes the Release 415 family of NVIDIA graphics drivers (versions 415.xx to 419.xx) for Microsoft Windows 7 and later. NVIDIA provides these notes to describe performance improvements and bug fixes in each documented version of the driver.

  Changes and Fixed Issues in Version 417.01
  The following sections list the important changes and the most common issues resolved in this version. This list is only a subset of the total number of changes made in this driver version. The NVIDIA bug number is provided for reference.
  
  Fixed Issues in this Release
  - Monitor refresh rates higher than 30 Hz cannot be applied on 4k monitors. [2423614]
  - Frame Rate Limiter 2 may not work. [2423316]
  - [Turing GPUs]: Event ID 14 error may occur if CSM is disabled in the system BIOS. [2434721]
  - [GeForce TX 650]: Shadowplay recordings are corrupted. [2416982]
  - [G-Sync]: G-sync may not disengage after exiting games. [2418574]
  - [GeForce Experience][Ansel]: Ansel images appear incomplete when the resolution is set to 30x or greater. [2082395]
  
  Open Issues in Version 417.01 WHQL
  As with every released driver, version 417.01 WHQL of the Release 415 driver has open issues and enhancement requests associated with it. This section includes lists of issues that are either not fixed or not implemented in this version. Some problems listed may not have been thoroughly investigated and, in fact, may not be NVIDIA issues. Others may have workaround solutions. For notebook computers, issues can be system-specific and may not be seen on your particular notebook.

  - [Firefox]: Cursor shows brief corruption when hovering on certain links in Firefox. [2107201]
  - Display corruption may occur on higher refresh rate DisplayPort monitors upon resume from sleep mode. [2438988]
  - [G-Sync]: Random flickering occurs when connecting G-sync monitor + non-G-Sync HDMI monitor with G-Sync enabled. [2399845]
